How to Form a Homeschool Co-op Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania has one of the most active homeschool co-op communities in the country. Why "Informal" Co-ops Are Not Actually Safe

Parent-Led Rotating Model: All parents take turns teaching subjects they know well. There are no paid teachers. This model is low-cost and highly democratic, but requires consistent parent availability and clearly defined subject responsibilities. It works best for enrichment co-ops that supplement families' primary home instruction, rather than full-time pods.
Facilitator-Led Model: Families pool tuition to hire one or more paid facilitators who provide structured daily instruction. Parents may or may not be present. This model functions closer to a micro-school and creates greater compliance obligations — background clearances for all paid staff, Act 168 employment history reviews, commercial insurance, and a formal contractual relationship between families and the facilitator.
